Soul Art Game

  A game of art for the soul Unwind your personal yarn and follow us in Chania to create a sculpture made out of thread that will remain in KETHEA (Therapy Center for Dependent Individuals) Ariadni. Soul Art Game The "Wave" which has originally started in Saint Titus Cathedral brought seeds in the Cretan land. The seeds turned to flowers that blossomed on 25th August street in Heraklion and made each step we took on the path a beautiful experience. The flowers climbed onto the Venetian Fortress of Koules symbolising our souls and then turned into birds and released our souls while flying in the Cretan sky. Για τρίτη συνεχή χρονιά το Soul Art Game εξελίσσεται. Ξεκίνησε με το κόκκινο κύμα που δημιουργήθηκε το 2016 στον Άγιο Τίτο, άνθισε κυριολεκτικά το 2017 στην οδό 25ης Αυγούστου και μετουσιώνεται φέτος σε ένα «ελεύθερο πέταγμα ψυχής» στον Κούλε. H εικαστικός Άννα Φραγκάκη και η "Ομάδα δράσης 17" καλούν καθένα από εμάς να φτιάξει νέα λουλούδια μέσα από συλλογική δημιουργία, να τα δει να αναρριχώνται στο φρούριο και να μεταμορφώνονται σε πουλιά. Αφήνουμε την ψυχή μας να ακολουθήσει το πέταγμα και την απελευθέρωσή τους. Φέτος το Soul Art Game θα ολοκληρωθεί με τη βοήθεια της drama therapist Νένας Βλασσά.  First Year Second Year

The Soul Art Game by Red Wave returned during the second year of the Street Art Festival "Art En Route" in Heraklion, Crete. The Red Wave was created by citizens with the instructions of the team "Task Force 17", during the first Soul Art Game. This time around it evolved and grew bigger with  efforts from  all participants.  This time the team invited everyone to participate in a new creation that would form its course on the streets of the City, specifically in one of the most well known streets in Heraklion, 25 th August Street. Materials for the process of the creation were handed to everyone and people of all ages started creating red flowers. The base of the flowers provided space for everyone in order to write personal messages, like lyrics or notes or words that hold a special meaning for each person, that would generate force for the wave to be spread throughout the streets of Heraklion reaching the port. Soul Art Game was created in 2016 by Joanna Giannari and was introduced during the first cretan street festival "Art En Route" in July 2016  organised by the municipality of Heraklion. Our modern living style is overflowed by a plethora of information, a fast paced reality, a wave of everyday sudden changes, stress and many more factors that lead to the unsettling of our inner self and causing pressure that seeks a way out. Soul Art Game is a pathway to relief this stressful situation through art, considering that it is in all forms a universal relief for the human mind and soul. The project was planned to work in an artistic environment in the form of a game, using art as an central axle, that would help the participants to seek a relief by communicating with their inner feelings and furthermore being able to recognise them and share them by being a part of a handmade sculpture. Λίγα λόγια για τη δημιουργό, Ιωάννα Γιάνναρη Η Ιωάννα Γιάνναρη γεννήθηκε στην Κρήτη. Οι μουσικές της σπουδές ξεκίνησαν στο Ελληνικό Ωδείο Ηρακλείου και ολοκληρώθηκαν στο Athenaeum"Maria Callas" στην Αθήνα. Επί σειρά ετών υπήρξε μέλος της Α' φωνής στην ορχήστρα " κιθαριστές του Athenaeum" με εμφανίσεις σε Φεστιβάλ στην Ελλάδας & το εξωτερικό, στα μουσικά πρωινά του Γ´ προγράμματος , στο Μέγαρο Μουσικής σε σύμπραξη με την ορχήστρα των χρωμάτων κ.α. Η Ιωάννα συνέχισε τις σπουδές της στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο και απέκτησε τον τίτλο Master of Arts in Arts management (City University, London) με διάκριση στην διατριβή της (μια μελέτη για την τέχνη κ την εκπαίδευση). Ως ειδικευμένη στην πολιτιστική διαχείριση έχει εργαστεί επί σειρά ετών για το ΥΠ.Ε.Π.Θ. ως υπεύθυνη των Μουσικών Αγώνων στο τμήμα των Πανελλήνιων Μαθητικών Καλλιτεχνικών Αγώνων.
